Neighborhood Marketplace Initiative

Urban Solutions is working in seven major corridors throughout San Francisco, in collaboration with MOEWD, LISC, community organizations, community volunteers and Neighborhood Marketplace Initiative (NMI) corridor managers to create business attraction activities. The corridors are Leland, Mission, Ocean, San Bruno, Polk, Divisadero, and Third Street, all of which offer significant opportunities for new businesses to open and existing businesses to expand. These seven commercial corridors have high potential for the creation of entrepreneurial opportunities and new jobs for local residents and communities.

We are collaborating with the following neighborhood organizations: Visitacion Valley Business Opportunity and Outreach Merchants (VVBOOM); Excelsior Action Group (EAG); Portola Neighborhood Steering Committee (PNSC); Lower Polk Neighbors Association; and the Ocean Avenue Revitalization Collaboration (OARC).
