Urban Solutions works to improve neighborhoods throughout San Francisco but has focused efforts in the South of Market, the Fillmore, and the seven corridors designated by the Neighborhood Marketplace Initiative (NMI).

South of Market

Urban Solutions provides comprehensive assistance to entrepreneurs interested in locating a business on Sixth Street. The Sixth Street Economic Revitalization Program provides matching grants, free architectural services and low-cost loans to property owners to improve the facades and interiors of their buildings.

The Fillmore

Urban Solutions operates a satellite office in the historic Fillmore district to provide dedicated on-site assistance to entrepreneurs interested in creating or growing businesses.

Neighborhood Marketplace Initiative

Urban Solutions is working in seven major corridors throughout San Francisco, in collaboration with MOEWD, LISC, community organizations, community volunteers and Neighborhood Marketplace Initiative (NMI) corridor managers to create business attraction activities.
