Neighborhood businesses create jobs, generate tax revenue, and foster the spirit of community. The San Francisco Neighborhood Business Awards is an event that was held from 2005 to 2008, to honor San Francisco business owners who made significant contributions to the city's vitality, prosperity, and character. In 2009, Urban Solutions redesigned its event, holding neighborhood Meet and Greet events.
