Through this program, clients can make an appointment with Urban Solutions for a 20-minute session with a lawyer from Hanson Bridgett. The lawyers will be available to discuss your business transactions, common legal terms used in the business world, and the impact of your business decisions on your legal rights and obligations. Raise questions concerning topics such as entity formation, intellectual property, contract terms and negotiation, and leasing terms and negotiation. Presented by Urban Solutions and sponsored by Citi, this event will bring together sustainability leaders, local entrepreneurs, and public officials to discuss innovative sustainability practices. The event will include a keynote address by Kevin Surace (founder of green building company Serious Materials and Inc. Magazine's Entrepreneur of the Year in 2009), a panel discussion featuring green experts and a performance. A networking session will take place from 5-6:30 p.m. This will be a ticketed event. Sixth Street from Market to Howard
In conjunction with the Central Market Arts Festival (September 24 - October 17, 2010), the "2 Blocks of Art" art walk will take place on Friday, October 8th from 4-8 pm. Fifteen local artists will exhibit in galleries, public spaces, and businesses along Sixth Street between Market and Howard. Restaurants, bars, and nightclubs along the way are offering discounted food and drink specials during the event.
